VSoft Corp. said it will be providing back counter check processing to the $82 million Peoples Credit Union of Pembroke Pines, Fla. The 13,300-member institution will deploy the solution through the company’s VServe data center, positioning it to add other offerings, such as remote deposit capture for members.
“This new, outsourced environment improves our back office operations, and lays the groundwork for continual advancement,” said Jeffrey Miller, president/CEO at Peoples Credit Union.
VSoft’s back counter capture solution features automated image and data workflows, which capture, correct, and balance transactions and include comprehensive validation features, reducing errors and accelerating processing and adding fraud protections, the company said.
VSoft said it now has provided Check 21 and other solutions to 1,900 banks, credit unions and savings institutions.
