The $700 million Vantage Credit Union earlier this month hosted a delegation of six Malawi credit union leaders at the 100,000-member credit union’s headquarters in the St. Louis suburb of Bridgeton, Mo. Topics over breakfast included lending practices, collections, information technology and marketing, followed by a tour. Malawi is an East African nation of about 14 million people. The visitors, led by Sylvester Kadzola, CEO of the Malawi Credit Union League, represented five credit unions from three districts and were all presidents of CEOs of their institutions.
