Akcelerant Buys Data Miner

Akcelerant Holdings has formed a new service company – Akcelerant Advisors – and bought CU Data Miner, a provider of business intelligence reporting and process improvement solutions for credit unions.

Akcelerant said CU Data Miner’s founder – Kevin Bingham – will serve as managing partner of the analytics practice for Akcelerant Advisors. He is a former vice president of information technology at the $1.3 billion Arizona Federal Credit Union in Phoenix who formed CU Data Miner about a year ago, according to his LinkedIn profile.

“For the last several years, I have been working with credit unions to provide them with business process re-engineering and analytics solutions. By joining Akcelerant Advisors, I will be able to provide value-added solutions to more Akcelerant Software customers, as well as other financial institutions.  These value-added solutions will allow credit unions to make better decisions enabling them to achieve their strategic objectives,” Bingham said.

Akcelerant Software is a provider of collections, lending and data analysis and collaboration software to more than 500 credit unions and other customers, the company said.
