Louisiana's Lafayette Schools’ Gets Mobile

The $140 million Lafayette Schools’ Federal Credit Union in Lafayette, La., will offer its 14,800 members mobile banking services from MShift Inc. through Card Services for Credit Unions , the companies and credit union said.

Included will be a mobile browser and downloadable shortcuts for iPhone and Android devices, they said.

“The services provided to our members will be enhanced by incorporating this progressive account management solution,” said Connie Roy, president/CEO of Lafayette Schools’ FCU, which  serves employees of the Lafayette, Acadia and Iberia Parish school boards, Crowley city employees and Acadiana High School and Broadmoor Elementary school students.

The credit union was founded in 1954 and has locations in Lafayette, Crowley and New Iberia, La.

CSCU is the association of credit unions that processes card transactions with FIS. MShift is a California-based provider of mobile platforms with deployments in place at more than 200 credit unions and banks.
