Credit union consulting firm Dollar Associates LLC is adding executive recruiting to its list of services.
“With over 40% of credit union CEOs reaching retirement age in the next five years,” said Dennis Dollar, head of the Birmingham, Ala.-based firm, “our client base has been encouraging us for several years to put our countless contacts in the industry to work for them as this major shifting of credit union executives takes place in the years to come.”
Dollar Associates has expanded its website to receive resumes and list positions being sought. The firm said it hopes its entry into the field will offer credit unions “a more demanding standard of results with a more competitive price tag attached.”
Dollar was on the NCUA Board from 1997 to 2004, the last three years served as chairman. He also is the former CEO of what was then Gulfport VA FCU in Mississippi.
His partner in the firm is Kirk Cuevas, an attorney who served as chief of staff and counsel to the NCUA chairman during Dollar’s tenure at the agency.
