Credit union executives who want a primer on the NCUA’s requirements for insurance coverage can sign up for NAFCU’s Jan. 25 webinar.
The webinar, which will be conducted by NAFCU Director of Regulatory Compliance Steven Van Beek, will deal with topics such as the NCUA’s calculator for share insurance, NCUA signage requirements and options for credit unions to provide insurance information to members.
NCUA Chairman Debbie Matz speaks often on the agency’s responsibility for protecting the NCUSIF and has justified many of the recent increases in regulation as being needed to prevent losses to the fund.
The NAFCU webinar is set for next Wednesday, Jan. 25, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. EST. Registration is online.
