VanBeek Will Replace Ambrose

Michael Ambrose Will Call it Quits, Kris VanBeek Tapped to Replace Him

Add Michael Ambrose, president/CEO of USAlliance Federal Credit Union, to the growing list of credit union leaders announcing their retirement.

Kris VanBeek, senior vice president of information systems/risk management at the $4 billion Digital Federal Credit Union in Marlborough, Mass., has been tapped to succeed Ambrose as the new president/CEO of the Rye, N.Y.-based credit union.

VanBeek’s career experience has spanned fields ranging from e-commerce, real estate, and commodity markets to financial services. He also serves on several advisory boards.

USAlliance has almost $750 million in assets and serves approximately 50,000 members.

VanBeek is the third credit union technologist named to the top spot in recent weeks, joining Rudy Pereira at Royal CU in Wisconsin and Doug True at FORUM CU in Indiana.
