A new online banking presence is now in place at Xceed Financial Credit Union after the El Segundo, Calif., completed what it called its “Extreme Makeover: Online Banking Edition.”
The online banking system includes more flexible, user-friendly basic banking functions, including bill pay, as well as financial management functions such as budgeting and aggregating cash transactions.
Cash-back rewards, live online chat, email and text alerts and bolstered security also are included in the system, provided by Intuit Financial Services. The launch was accompanied by “Extreme Makeover” themed e-mails, paper mailings and in-branch marketing, as well as Web-based outreach, automated phone messages and targeted phone calls from Xceed Personal Bankers, the credit union said.
“We view all of our technology investments through the lens of member service and member value,” said Teresa Freeborn, Xceed Financial president/CEO. “This upgrade responds to the needs and wants of our members, who love the super-personal service they get with Xceed in other environments, and wanted us to bring that same efficiency, innovation and convenience to their Xceed Online experience.”
Xceed Financial opened in 1964 as Scientific Data Systems CU, became Xerox FCU in 1970 and Xceed Financial in 2008, and now has 15 offices in six states.
