The Credit Union Executives Society on Monday announced the election of its board officers for 2011-12 during its CEO/Executive Team Network gathering in Las Vegas.
Lary McCants, president/CEO of the IBM Southeast Employees’ Federal Credit Union in Boca Raton, Fla., was elected chairman. Elected vice chairman/chairman elect was Teresa Freeborn, president/CEO at Xceed Financial CU, El Segundo, Calif.
Robert D. Ramirez, CEO at Vantage West CU, Tucson, Ariz., was named treasurer. And Gerrianne D. Burks, president/CEO of Northwest FCU of Herndon, Va., was elected secretary.
Other CUES board members are Immediate Past Chairman and Director Frederick D. Healey, management development consultant, IBM Southeast Employees’ FCU, Boca Raton, Fla.; Past Chairman and Director Dale F. Schumacher, president/CEO, Tampa Bay FCU, Tampa, Fla.; Past Chairman and Director Carla Altepeter, president/CEO, Numerica CU, Spokane Valley, Wash.; Past Chairman and Director Mark Hawkins, CEO, Altura CU, Riverside, Calif.; and Director Shelley Clarke, president/CEO, Goldenwest FCU, Ogden, Utah.
