Grand Rapids, Mich.-based core processor CU*Answers and affiliated CUSO Xtend Inc. have added new owners, the credit union-owned companies said.
Pushing the number of owners to 94 for CU*Answers are the $57 million Community Driven CU of Ypsilanti, Mich., and the $26 million Public Services CU of Fort Wayne, Ind., the company said.
CUSO ownership is an option for credit unions using the CU*BASE core processing system and 11 new owners were added during the past year, CU*Answers said.
Meanwhile, Xtend said it has added investments from the $71 million Onaway Community FCU of Onaway, Mich., and the $81 million North Central Area CU of Houghton Lake, Mich., pushing that CUSO’s list of credit union owners to 58.
CU*Answers said it now provides core processing and related services to 189 credit unions in 24 states, while Xtend said it now provides managerial, operational, marketing, technical planning and consulting services to more than 140 credit unions.
