Lending Solutions Inc. says it processed more than 40,000 loan applications in the month of August, the most in the company’s 16-year history.
The Elgin, Ill., firm said it also is seeing growth in its other contact center activities, prompting the hiring of more than 100 new employees so far this year, with another 30 hires forecasted by year’s end.
“2011 has been an incredible year for LSI and our clients. Throughout the spring and summer months, we have been reaching new application and transaction milestones on almost a daily basis,” said Lee Kolquist, CEO of the company founded by industry consultant Rex Johnson.
The company began processing loan applications by phone in 1995 and has since added online lending, indirect underwriting, mortgage operations, collections outsourcing, outbound marketing and general member service transactions.
More than 300 credit unions, banks and mortgage companies now use its 7/24 services, LSI said.
