Dakotas League Unveils New Logo

Branding Follows Name Change

A new logo has now joined the new name for the league representing the Dakotas’ credit unions.

The name change from Mid America Credit Union Association to Credit Union Association of the Dakotas was approved at a June meeting and has now legally taken place, the CUAD said.

“This name change was intended to better represent the Association’s focus on credit unions in the Dakotas, and to improve our recognition with lawmakers. To complete the name change, a new logo was developed,” the CUAD said.

The new logo, approved by the board in July, was designed to represent each state, advocacy efforts and the three tiers of the credit union system, the group said.

The CUAD is headquartered in Bismarck, N.D., and represents 77 credit unions.
