Perimeter E-Security, a provider of security services to more than 500 credit unions, said it has renewed its alliance with CUNA Strategic Services.
CSS cited the Milford, Conn., firm’s compliant information security and messaging services and affordability in deciding to renew the endorsement it first gave in 2006.
Perimeter said its client list has grown to more than 6,000 customers, offering smaller institutions what it calls the same level of security as Fortune 500 firms.
“The credit union conundrum is clear. They have to address the same regulatory and security challenges as major financial institutions with significantly limited internal resources,” said Tim Harvey, CEO of Perimeter E-Security.
Harvey said his company now filters 50 million emails and handles 240 million security events daily.
