A new online banking home page that includes direct access to bill pay, account histories, transfers, a personal finance manager and a new member rewards program has been launched by the $1.3 billion South Carolina Federal Credit Union in North Charleston, S.C.
The new site at www.scfederal.org was created in cooperation with Intuit Financial Services, the credit union’s online banker and provider of the FinanceWorks PFM.
"The new look was created to enhance our members’ experience online," said Brandon Manus, virtual experience manager at the 158,000-member S.C. Federal. "With our key banking features on the homepage, members have faster access to the information they use most."
The new rewards program joins the existing CURewards offering. Called SimplePerks, it’s tied to the credit union’s MasterCard debit card and provides special offers online and at stores and restaurants where the offers were activated. Cash-back deposits also are included. The new site also includes a link with an option to switch back to the previous home page. SC Federal has 17 branches and more than 75 ATMs.
