Effective April 2011, Martha Wye will be president/CEO of NARFE Premier Federal Credit Union.
Prior to joining the Alexandria, Va.-based credit union, Wye, who has more than 19 years of experience in financial services, served as vice president of Congressional Federal Credit Union.
"After completing a nationwide search, we were pleased to find someone of Ms. Wye’s caliber residing in the Washington, D.C. area. Martha’s knowledge of the intricacies of competing inside the beltway’s financial marketplace was one of several key factors in our board’s decision," said Tressie Muldrow, chair of NARFE Premier Federal CU.
Over the years, Wye has had executive experience in areas ranging from member service, consumer lending and real estate lending, to operations, collections and accounting. While at Congressional Federal CU, she was recognized for collaborative interaction with the senior management team in the development of value added business solutions for consumers with diverse financial needs.
