CU Campus Resources recently announced it has partnered with Citizens Equity First Credit Union of Peoria, Ill., to offer private student loans to its members.
"Ever-rising college costs are making it extremely difficult for today's youth to achieve their education goals," CEFCU Vice President Mary Conrady said. "That is why CEFCU is pleased to offer this low-cost option for students in need of additional financing."
CEFCU members attending any four-year public or private university or one of more than 30 two-year colleges within CEFCU's branch geographic requirements will be able to use the credit union for private student loans.
CU Campus Resources, a CUSO wholly owned by UW Credit Union of Madison, Wisc., provides customized student loan services and campus relationship advisory to credit unions.
