Heartland CU Launches 'Go Local' Campaign

Heartland Credit Union is encouraging consumers to make choose local with the launch of its Go Local initiative.

Designed to raise awareness of making locally oriented decisions, the campaign gives the community a chance to nominate a worthy nonprofit organization for a chance to win $10,000. The community will vote for the winner on the Heartland CU Go Local community page.

More than $75,000 in products, services, employee time and sponsorships will be donated to local organizations and causes in the communities surrounding Heartland CU branches through 2011.

According to the Madison, Wis.-based credit union President/CEO Sally Dischler, the campaign lets Heartland CU walk the walk by making a real difference in the communities served.
