Card Services for Credit Unions, the association of credit unions that process card transactions on the FIS platform, has added more card consulting staff to help client CUs improve card performance.
"Our consultants have helped hundreds of credit unions achieve exceptional growth over the years," said Bill Lehman, vice president of portfolio consulting. "The numbers might be impressive, but we still pride ourselves on the individualized attention we give each credit union."
CSCU said within six to 18 months, member credit unions that has used its consultation service saw portfolio revenue growth of more than triple the rate achieved by members who did not participate in a consultation. Consulted credit unions also benefited from nearly 10% growth in total outstanding balances within the same period, compared with approximately 4.5% of non-consulted member credit unions.
