This week's PRO Pulse update, your weekly check-in with the CU Times newsroom: what we're publishing, what we're working on and what we're thinking about.

Peter Strozniak has an important story concerning Guardian Credit Union, a case Peter has been following for some time, and that sits at the intersection of privacy, technology and legal risk. The issue: allegations that the credit union tracked members' website activity and shared personal and financial information with third parties through website analytics tools. A judge has allowed the case to move forward.

Important note: If your credit union uses website tracking technologies, pixles or analytics platforms, this is definitely a story you'll want to read and stay with us for ongoing coverage.

Also, this week I'll be joined by 1st Advanage Federal Credit Union's Chief Information Officer, Jason Tilley for a live and honest discussion about credit union and fintech relationships. Not long ago, partnering with a fintech seemed innovative. Now, it's simply a competitive necessity. Join us for this conversation and you can ask us questions live. Register here for this show on Thursday, June 11 at 2 p.m. ET.
