Affinity Federal Credit Union has expanded its partnership with fintech provider Greenlight Financial Technology to offer a broader suite of tools designed to help families manage finances and personal safety across multiple generations.
The Basking Ridge, N.J.-based credit union announced it will provide eligible members discounted access to Greenlight Infinity and the company's new Family Shield service. The combined offering is intended to help families teach children and teens financial skills while also protecting aging relatives from fraud and safety risks.
Greenlight Infinity provides families with a debit card and financial management app for kids and teens, along with tools that allow parents to monitor spending, teach investing basics and stay connected through features such as location sharing, SOS alerts, crash detection and driving reports.
Family Shield adds services aimed at supporting older adults, including financial account monitoring, identity theft protection and personal safety assistance.
Affinity CEO Kevin Brauer said the partnership reflects the credit union's strategy to build long-term relationships with members across life stages.
"Families don't think in financial products—they think in life stages, goals and the people they care about most," Brauer said. "This partnership strengthens our role as a lifelong financial partner."
Affinity members can access the services by linking their credit union account to the Greenlight app, which provides financial tools and safety monitoring through a single platform.
