The Littleton, Colo.-based Red Rocks Credit Union has introduced “Roxie,” a conversational, AI-powered virtual assistant designed to transform how members access support across the credit union’s service channels. Announced Wednesday, Roxie provides 24/7 phone-based assistance, giving members immediate help with common questions, account information and branch details without waiting for a live representative.

The credit union partnered with interface.ai to build the platform, making Red Rocks one of the nation’s early adopters of a fully conversational, voice-first virtual assistant in the credit union space. Leadership said it expects Roxie to manage more than half of the credit union’s routine inquiries by year-end, a shift that will allow staff to focus on more complex financial conversations while expanding overall service capacity.

“Roxie reflects our commitment to stay ahead of what our members need,” Darius Wise, president/CEO of Red Rocks, said. “We’re focused on creating tools that make financial lives easier while preserving the human connection that defines us.”

Roxie supports natural voice interaction, secure multifactor authentication and rapid information retrieval. Members can check balances, review transactions, access branch information and receive answers to everyday questions. The system also improves accessibility and ensures consistent service during peak hours and after business hours.

Josh Henderson, SVP of IT, noted that the initiative strengthens, not replaces, human service. “Roxie helps our team focus on conversations that require a human touch while giving members more control and convenience.”

As credit unions nationwide explore AI to improve efficiency and responsiveness, Red Rocks views Roxie as a foundation for expanded digital capabilities and future innovations.
