Mark Hettinger will become president/CEO of the $658 million GFA Federal Credit Union in Gardner, Mass., in April, the board of directors said Wednesday.

He also served as vice president of member service at Think Federal Credit Union in Rochester, Minn., and as a branch manager and lending officer for Premier Bank.

GFA's 109 employees operate nine branches that serve more than 30,000 members.

The board of directors for the $797 million MidWest America Federal Credit Union in Fort Wayne, Ind., has selected David Shadburne as its president/CEO.

He succeeds Greg Mohr, who is retiring after 14 years of service.

David Shadburne joined MidWest American from the $1.2 billion Park Community Credit Union in Louisville, Ky., where he served as EVP and chief strategy officer.

He also previously worked as CEO of Winchester Federal Bank in Winchester, Ky., as an SVP and assistant general counsel of PBI Bank, and as CEO of Kentucky Banks Center.
