MADISON, Wis. – The World Council of Credit Unions will host its Annual International Reception this year on Feb. 22 at the Embassy of Canada in Washington, D.C. Ronald T. McMorran, counselor, Embassy of Canada will give the welcoming remarks. Other expected speakers at the function are WOCCU Board Chairman L.R. McVeigh; Canadian Central of Canada Chairman Jack Smit; and Melvin Edwards, 2nd vice chairman, WOCCU Board, representing the Caribbean Confederation of Credit Unions. Also during the reception, WOCCU supporters will receive special recognition for their continued dedication and support to the improvement of credit union movements around the world.
