VIENNA, Va. – NFL Hall of Famer Roger Staubach and graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, recently thanked Navy FCU for "going the extra mile" by raising more than $330,000 for the Combined Federal Campaign of the National Capital Area, exceeding the credit union's monetary goal by more than $90,000. More than 75% of NFCU employees participated in this year's CFC. "The reason our community is so strong is because we give back," said Staubach. "We all have to strike a balance in our lives between taking and giving back. CFC is a great way to do that. And as employees of Navy Federal, you go the extra mile by exceeding your CFC fundraising goal year after year, and this year by more than $90,000."
