LONDON – ATM users in the U.S. are not the only ones who pay ATM fees on a grand scale. British consumers who use automated tellers will pay almost $70 million in ATM fees this year, according to stories in the British press. Research indicates approximately 34 million cash withdrawals will be made from some 11,000 ATMs that apply surcharges in 2003.
