ARLINGTON, Va. – NAFCU-affiliated credit unions can now offer tax preparation services to members without employing an in-house, experienced tax preparer. NAFCU Service Corp. has selected Tax Refund Express (TRE) as its preferred partner for credit union tax services. CU members will be able to use one of three ways to file electronically: a tax preparation packet, online filing with TurboTax for the Web, a Web-based tax preparation program from Intuit, and tax preparation service. There is no cost initiation for participating CUs and the participating credit unions will be the central point for all material collected.
