ATLANTA – Here's some good news for core DP vendors looking to find more clients. According to a study by I-flex solutions, 48% of financial services institutions are considering replacing their core banking solutions. Interestingly, the survey was actually conducted on the show floor of the conference. The survey also found that 74% consider CRM and business intelligence and analytic applications as the technology implementation that will have the greatest impact on their bottom lines over the next two years. Other survey findings include the following: *38% rank compliance with government or central bank regulations as their top priority in 2003; *27% plan to outsource IT projects to an offshore provider; *33% consider ease of implementation and integration with existing technology an important factor when replacing their core banking solution.
