CO-OP Financial Services is moving its well-known THINKconference to August due to health concerns about the Coronavirusoutbreak.

"We have been carefully monitoring the public health concernssurrounding the Coronavirus outbreak," CO-OP President and CEO ToddClark said in a statement. "After careful consultation with anumber of our clients, board members and stakeholders, and in anabundance of caution, we have made the decision to postpone theTHINK 20 conference and move the dates from May 4-7 to August 17-20in Dallas."

The Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.-based payments and technologycompany said it will offer THINK 20 content in May via a one-dayvirtual conference event. Details on that will be available incoming weeks, it added.

People already registered for THINK 20 will be automaticallyregistered for the digital event in May and for the in-person eventin August, CO-OP said. People who can't attend the rescheduledevent have until August 1 to cancel and get a full refund, itadded.

"Our THINK conference regularly attracts more than 800 attendeesand, again, it is for their health and safety that is paramount toour decision," Clark said. "We thank everyone in the credit unionmovement for their understanding and we look forward to seeing youlater in the summer."

The cancellation comes amid an ongoing flurry of conference reschedulings, cancellations andreconsiderations across the credit union industry.
