The $580 million Clark County Credit Union inLas Vegas promoted two managers to vice president roles.Shannon Dufore was promoted to vice president ofoperations and will oversee back office operations and facilities.She brings more than 20 years of credit union experience to herposition. Matt Becker was promoted to vicepresident of information systems. Becker will oversee informationand technology functions and supervise department staff. Beckerbrings more than a decade of IT and finance experience to theposition.

Mark Moore, the 26-year president/CEO for the$121 million Members 1st Credit Union in Redding,Calif., retired effective Jan. 31, 2016. When Moore took over asCEO in 1992, the office was located in a warehouse, with sixemployees and $12 million in assets. Today, Members 1st has fivelocations and 56 employees. He is succeeded by TeriVanderpol who previously served as CFO. Vanderpol beganher career with Members 1st in 1993 and has served in a number ofpositions throughout the credit union before becomingpresident/CEO. Also, Judi Bartholomew was promotedto executive vice president. Bartholomew began her career withMembers 1st in 2001, serving as branch manager.

credit union executive movesBrianSherrick, president/CEO of the $617 million IdealCredit Union in Woodbury, Minn., was appointed to theFederal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis' Community DepositoryInstitutions Advisory Council. Sherrick will serve a three-yearterm on the 13-member council, which acts in an advisory capacityto the Minneapolis Bank and the Board of Governors inWashington.

The $600 million LAFCU in Lansing, Mich., hiredRebekah Kilpatrick as a payroll and benefitsspecialist. In her new position, Kilpatrick is responsible forprocessing payroll, maintaining employee records and managingemployee benefits such as health care and retirement. Kilpatrickcame to LAFCU from Partners Book Distributing Inc., where sheserved as human resources/payroll manager since 1998.

credit union executives on the moveThe $4.9billion Delta Community Credit Union based inAtlanta, Ga. hired Aisha Khawaja as vice presidentof card and payment services. In this newly-created position,Khawaja will have direct oversight of card services, paymentservices, and card and payment risk management. In addition to cardservices and risk management, Khawaja's experience includesregulatory compliance and call center management.

The $2.1 billion Chartway Federal Credit Unionin Virginia Beach, Va. elected three members to its board ofdirectors. Robert Holmes was elected for athree-year term. Holmes joined Chartway as a member in 1965. He'sbeen a volunteer since 1998 and a member of the board since 2006.Melvin Mizelle was also elected for a three-yearterm. Mizelle has 33 years of volunteer service with Chartway,including a term as chairman of the board from 1997 to 2001. He'salso served as treasurer of the board and served for or chaired anumber of committees. Judy Sparrow was elected toa three-year term as well. Sparrow has held a variety of volunteerpositions at the credit union over the past 20 years. She's been amember of the board since 2006 and has served in a variety ofroles.

executives move upThe $2.7 billonTexas Dow Employees Credit Union in Lake Jackson,Texas, appointed two members to its board of directors.Carrie Fisher was appointed as advisory director.Fisher joined the board in 2015 and sits on both the finance andstrategic initiatives committees for the credit union. She holdsthe position of senior vice president, ecommerce and chiefmarketing officer for Fossil Group, Inc. AnitaSehgal was also appointed as advisory director. Sehgaljoined the TDECU organization as an advisory board member in 2015and serves on both the TDECU holdings board and the strategicinitiatives committee. Sehgal is senior vice president of marketingand communications for the Houston Astros.
