Credit unions on the east and west coasts were busy this weekannouncing new promotions and new hires.

EAST

|

The $503 million Harvard University EmployeesCredit Union in Cambridge, Mass. announced three executivepromotions. Peter Buchanan (pictured) waspromoted to senior vice president of real estate and businesslending. He previously served as vice president of real estate.John Degnan was promoted to senior vice presidentof operations. He previously served as vice president ofoperations. Tom Murphy was promoted to senior vicepresident of student/alumni services and consumer lending. Hepreviously served as vice president of consumer lending.

The $104 million Inspire Federal Credit Unionin Bristol, Pa. announced six promotions. TimAitken was promoted to executive vice president. Hemost recently served as the credit union's vice president/CFO.Lou Hyjurick was named assistant vicepresident of information technology and facilities. LaurenSingleton was appointed assistant vice president of retailoperations. Brian Phillips was promoted toassistant vice president of relationship development.Sheena Seratch and SarahMitchell were promoted to branch manager positions.

Sharon Gerald (pictured) was named vicepresident of operations for the $109 million BeachMunicipal Federal Credit Union in Virginia Beach, Va.Before joining the credit union, she served as a member relationsand payments manager at the $1.3 billion First CarolinaCorporate Credit Union in Greensboro, N.C.

Nick Hart was appointed vice president ofmarketing for the $748 million Member One Federal CreditUnion in Roanoke, Va. He previously served as copydirector at First Union Bank, now Wells Fargo, in Charlotte,N.C.

Joshua Rakiey was promoted to assistant vicepresident of mortgage sales at the $1 billion HanscomFederal Credit Union in Hanscom Air Force Base, Mass. Hejoined the credit union in 2009 and most recently served as itsmortgage sales manager.

WEST

|

The $9.5 billion Golden 1 Credit Union inSacramento, Calif. hired JoseDelgado (pictured) as senior vice president, chiefretail officer and Ryan Kelly as vicepresident, audit services. Previously, Delgado held positions withBank of America, Chase Bank, FiServ and, most recently, Bank ofOklahoma. Kelly most recently served as the director of riskassurance for consulting firm PriceWaterhouseCoopers.

Laura Wood was promoted to vice president ofhuman resources and organizational development at the $2.1 billionSTCU in Spokane, Wash. She previously served asdirector of human resources, a position she held since 1998 whenshe joined the credit union.

Tom Beckett (pictured) joined the $1.5billion Elevations Credit Union in Boulder, Colo.as a senior commercial lender. With more than 25 years ofexperience, he most recently worked at First Bank and Trust as thenorthern Colorado market manager.

Jaimy Herbert and DeborahKratzer-Reid were named external mortgage loan officers bythe $962 million Oregon State Credit Union inCorvallis, Ore. Herbert previously served as an internal loanofficer for more than five years. Kratzer-Reid worked for FirstInterstate Bank in Laramie, Wyo. for 12 years prior to moving toOregon in May 2015.

Employees Gina O'Callaghan and DavidKanongataa of the $719 million Ventura CountyCredit Union in Ventura, Calif. were recognized by the SanDiego-based CUSO Financial Services LP as top-producing financialadvisors. O'Callaghan was the highest performing advisor in theSilver Pacesetter category and Kanongataa was recognized with aBronze Pacesetter award.

The New Jersey Credit Union Leaguepromoted Donna Pancoast from shared compliancespecialist to shared compliance manager. She joined the leaguein 2009 and holds more than 30 years of experience in the financialservices industry.

PSCU, a St. Petersburg, Fla.-based CUSO,announced Phil Davis and BrianScott joined its senior leadership team. Davis wasnamed senior vice president of service delivery. Over the lastseven years, he served in numerous leadership positions at Vantiv,a company that includes the former Fifth Third Processing Solutionsand TNB Card Services. Scott was named the senior vice president ofvendor alliance partnerships. He most recently served as vicepresident of sales for The Members Group.
