Peace most recently worked on Capitol Hill as a press secretary.Prior to her stint on the Hill, she worked as the weekday eveningnews anchor for the Fox and CBS affiliates in Sioux City, Iowa, andthe weekday morning news anchor for the ABC affiliate in IdahoFalls, Idaho.

Elizabeth has worked as a features writer, crime writer,political writer and investigative reporter. She was the sportseditor at the Park Record in Park City, Utah, coveringpre-Olympic qualifiers and local sports. She later worked as themanaging editor for Today in Dixie in St. George, Utah,and executive editor for The Davis County Clipper inBountiful, Utah.

In 2010, she founded St. George News, the largestonline news site in Washington County, Utah, and was co-host of thePerspectives radio show in St. George, Utah each weekdaymorning. Elizabeth is a member of the Society of ProfessionalJournalists and previous board member for the Utah HeadlinersChapter.
