America First Revs Up Auto App Offers
The $6.3 billion America First Credit Union in Riverdale, Utah, said it now is the first financial institution in the state to offer merchant-funded offers and loans through a mobile app.
Working with the Fiserv Mobiliti solution and Credit Union Direct Lending, America First is offering members the ability to use the credit union’s iPhone, iPad and Android mobile apps to search nationwide for a vehicle, scan its VIN to see its value and apply for an auto loan, as well as personal loans, lines of credit and Visa credit, the credit union said.
America First said it also has launched ABC Deals, “which stands for Activate, Buy, Collect, and gives cash back for purchases. The upgrade provides convenience for members, allowing access to participating vendors in the area via location services as well as by ZIP code,” America First said Tuesday in its announcement.
”We know that a large percentage of our membership base currently utilize our mobile product and that number is slated to grow exponentially,” said Brice Mindrum, mobile services manager at America First.
America First has 107 branches, including four that opened this year, and plans to open more by year end, the 647,600-member credit union added.
