The $253 million Dominion Credit Union in Richmond, Va., said Tuesday it plans to convert to the Symitar Episys core processing platform from Jack Henry & Associates of Monett, Mo.
The 21,800-member Dominion said it had been on its current system, Fiserv's DataSafe platform, for more than 20 years. The credit union said in a Symitar release it made its decision after comparing the costs of converting core platforms to the cost of a hardware upgrade it was facing.
On its website, Dominion announced to members it would be upgrading its operating systems this spring.
