Senate Banking Committee Chairman Tim Johnson (D-S.D.) announcedTuesday the committee will consider the nomination of MarkMcWatters to serve on the NCUA Board in a hearing on Tuesday, March 4.
|McWatters will share his spot on the panel with three FederalReserve Board nominees, Dr. Stanley Fischer, Jerome H. Powell andLael Brainard. Gustavo Velasquez Aguilar, a nominee for AssistantSecretary of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Developmentwill also be on the panel.
|A vote on the nominees will be scheduled for a later date,Johnson said in a release.
|The hearing, which will take place in room 538 in the DirksenSenate Office Building, will be webcast live at: http://banking.senate.gov.
