Montgomery County Employees Federal CreditUnion in Germantown, Md., has named TeresaMorillo as branch manager of its Rockville location.Morillo has more than eight years of experience in credit unionmanagement. She previously served as member service operations andtraining coordinator with the Educational Systems Federal CreditUnion.

Freedom Credit Union in Warminster, Pa., hashired Jim Calista as mortgage lending manager.Calista brings 20-plus years of management experience in themortgage industry and has worked for Countrywide Home Loans, PNCMortgage and New York Life.

Jane Wells has been appointed manager of theCrescent Credit Union branch in the Campelloneighborhood of Brockton, Mass. Wells takes over for Ray St.Germain, who retired after nearly 14 years of service with thecredit union. Wells brings 45 years of banking experience toCampello, having served as manager at Crescent's Eastside Brocktonoffice since 1999. She also spent 30 years with Fleet Bank.

Sandy Steward has been promoted to assistantvice president for IT applications and business support atLangley Federal Credit Union in Newport News, Va.She joined the credit union in 2005 and most recently was seniortechnical services manager.

America's First Federal Credit Union inBirmingham, Ala., has promoted Karen Deluca andRobin Moore to assistant vice presidents ofregional branch operations. Deluca had been manager of branchsupport and joined America's First in 1985. Moore was formerlybranch operations manager and has been with America's First for 28years. America's First is also naming StefanBarnette as the facilities/operations manager. Barnettehas been with the credit union since 2002 and had beenpurchasing/facilities manager.

Mark Kummer has joined the Founders InvestmentServices team in Fort Mill, S.C., as a financial consultant for thedepartment of Founders Federal Credit Union inLancaster, S.C. He is a CPA who worked for the former SpringsIndustries and then Allstate and Edward Jones.

Georgia United Credit Union in Duluth, Ga., haspromoted three team leaders. Michelle Shelton hasbeen promoted from vice president of marketing to chief developmentofficer. Shawn Michael Turpin has been promotedfrom vice president of branches to senior vice president.Tonya Harris, director of staff development, hasbeen promoted to vice president of staff development.

Jaimie Miller has been named executive directorof the Iowa Credit Union Foundation. She had beendirector of philanthropy for WesleyLife where she led fundraisingefforts for various programs including Meals on Wheels, Hospice andthe Good Samaritan program. She also served as the fund developmentmanager for Girl Scouts of Iowa and as a governmental affairsintern for PolicyWorks.

Royal Credit Union in Eau Claire, Wis., hasnamed Lowell Sutton as senior home loanunderwriter. He will be responsible for assisting all of the homeloan team members to help determine the best course of action forcomplex loan applications.

Credit Union of Texas has promoted EricPointer to executive vice president. He had joined thecredit union in 1993 and most recently was president/CEO of CreditUnion Services Inc., a CUSO of the Dallas credit union.

Steve Brandon has been promoted topresident/CEO of Honda Federal Credit Union inTorrance, Calif., succeeding the retiring Jim Updike. Brandon hadbeen chief operating officer of the credit union he joined in1991.

Floyd Rummel III has been promoted topresident/CEO of Northern Hills Federal CreditUnion in Sturgis, S.D., where he had been serving asinterim CEO/executive vice president after Cindy Griffin retired.Rummel previously had been president of Dakota Territory FederalCredit Union in Deadwood, S.D.

Sound Credit Union in Tacoma, Wash., haspromoted Troy Garry to vice president/chieffinancial officer. Garry has more than 10 years of credit union andbanking experience and had joined Sound CU as the leader of itsRisk Management Department, including internal auditing.
