The NCUA announced a new webinar Tuesday that will provide credit unions withinformation regarding field of membership expansions.
|Scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014, at 2 p.m. Eastern, thefree event is appropriate entitled, “Field of Membership Strategiesfor Federal Credit Unions.”
|Dominic Carullo, an economic development specialist with theOffice of Small Credit Union Initiatives, and Ruth Siragusa andJason Schultz, consumer access analysts with NCUA's Office ofConsumer Protection, will host the webinar.
|Other topics to be covered include advantages of each type offederal charter, policy requirements for various expansion options andwhere to find additional regulator information on the topic.
