A Utah startup is offering what it says is the first mobile appthat provides both business and personal credit scores.

Creditera was launched in 2012 after co-founder Levi King saidhis own business credit scores hindered his ability to get the mostfavorable loan terms although he had run legitimate, profitablebusinesses.

The Creditera app will provide small business operators withmobile access to their personal and business scores from ratingservices such as Experian, King said.

“Many financial institutions use these credit scores to helpthem makelending decisions, especially in the case of small businessowners who haven't built up a business credit history,” King saidin his South Jordan, Utah, company's announcement.

“Creditera's app will make it easy for those entrepreneurs tohave a comprehensive view of their credit health in real time,”King said.

The app also includes the Creditera identity theft andsuspicious activity monitoring service, the company said.
