The toy drive was one of several charitable actions supportedand carried out by ICUL this year, the league said.

Throughout the year, ICUL staff participated in a summer fooddrive, a blood collection drive, and various fund-raisingactivities that raised thousands of dollars for local and nationalsocial service agencies.

“This continued to be a year of great need for many people,”said Dan Plauda, ICUL president/CEO. “Rather than sending outholiday greetings, the Illinois Credit Union System for the fifthyear in a row, chose on behalf of its member credit unions tocoordinate, organize and participate in these activities. We feelblessed to have been able to give back to our communities.”
