CUNA Mutual Group said it has integrated its loanliner.complatform including its Smartphone Loan technology and AskAutoapp, with MeridianLink's loan origination system, LoansPQ.

The companies said the connectivity between the two systemsallows credit unions to eliminate the need to re-key loan data,resulting in reduced keying errors and transfer up to 140 datafields from loanliner.com to LoansPQ.

The integration also transfers data and automatically provides aloan decision to the member in real time, according to CUNAMutual. Members get decision responses regardless of whichchannel the loan originates from, the Madison, Wis.-based companysaid.

“Combining our loanliner.com platform with MeridianLink's loan origination system just made sense,” saidChuck Cashman, technology leader at CUNA Mutual. “It will allow usto offer higher-quality products that seamlessly integrate and aresimple to use.”

For example, when a credit union member uses CUNA Mutual'sSmartphone Loan technology or AskAuto app to complete their loanapplication via loanliner.com, the data is automatically andsecurely transferred to MeridianLink's loan origination system,LoansPQ, according to CUNA Mutual.

The loan is then decisioned using the credit union's owndecision criteria set-up in LoansPQ. A decision is returned anddisplayed in loanliner.com for the member, and then the loanofficer completes the loan processing in LoansPQ.

The connection between CUNA Mutual's loanliner.com platform andMeridianLink's LoansPQ currently provides more than 225 creditunions and 12 million members with decisioning and data transfercapabilities, the companies said.
