The $890 million DuPont Community Credit Union in Waynesboro,Va., plans to convert to the Episys core processing platform, JackHenry & Associates announced on Tuesday.

The 64,900-member DuPont Community currently runs on the Fiserv DataSafeplatform, according to data from Callahan & Associates.

The Virginia credit union cited functionality, integration anddata access in its decision, which it said it reached after anextensive evaluation.

Symitar, a San Diego-based subsidiary of Missouri-based JackHenry, currently serves more than 750 credit unions, the companysaid.

The company also announced earlier this month that it hascompleted the conversion of the $5.7 billion American AirlinesFederal Credit Union at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport tothe Episys platform. AACU had announced its plans to convert from the FiservSpectrum platform in February 2012.
