The $796 million Texas Trust Credit Union of Mansfield opened its 13th branchlast week in Arlington.

The cooperative now operates three branches in Arlington, whichmeans most of its members are not more than five miles from a TexasTrust branch, the Dallas-area credit union said.

The 3,760-square-foot building has been renovated into afull-service branch offering commercial and two regulardrive-through lanes and a drive-up ATM.

The branch is staffed by eight full-time employees, five ofwhich are new hires. Three-year employee Whitney McLeod is themanager of the new branch.

“Whether we are adding mobile banking services, ATMs, orbranches, our goal is to make it easy for members to do businesswith us,” said Jim Minge, president/CEO of Texas Trust CU. “Arlington is sucha large community that we really need multiple branches to serveour members effectively.”
