NCUA Board Chairman Debbie Matz announced Friday that D. ScottNeat, a 26-year veteran of NCUA, has been named director ofsupervision in the Office of Examination and Insurance.

Neat starts in his new role on Nov. 3 succeeding MatthewBiliouris, who was named deputy director of the NCUA's Office of Consumer Protection in July of this year. TheDivision of Supervision oversees NCUA's examination and supervisionprogram.

Neat joined the NCUA in 1987 as an examiner. He later became a supervisionanalyst in 1990 at the NCUA's Atlanta Region III office. In 1992,Neat worked as a problem case officer in Region III's Division ofSpecial Actions until 2007 when he took on his current supervisoryexaminer position based in Memphis.

Neat studied at the University of Kentucky and graduated with adegree in accounting.
