NCUA Board Chairman Debbie Matz announced Friday that D. ScottNeat, a 26-year veteran of NCUA, has been named director ofsupervision in the Office of Examination and Insurance.
|Neat starts in his new role on Nov. 3 succeeding MatthewBiliouris, who was named deputy director of the NCUA's Office of Consumer Protection in July of this year. TheDivision of Supervision oversees NCUA's examination and supervisionprogram.
|Neat joined the NCUA in 1987 as an examiner. He later became a supervisionanalyst in 1990 at the NCUA's Atlanta Region III office. In 1992,Neat worked as a problem case officer in Region III's Division ofSpecial Actions until 2007 when he took on his current supervisoryexaminer position based in Memphis.
|Neat studied at the University of Kentucky and graduated with adegree in accounting.
