The National Association of Credit Union Service Organizationswill host a webinar on CUSO growth through mergers andacquisitions.
|John Dearing, managing director of the McLean, Va.-basedCapstone Strategic, a growth consulting firm, will discussacquisition or external growth is a tool for any organization,regardless of the industry, according to NACUSO.
|The online session will take place from 2:00-3:00 p.m. EDT Oct.22.
|Attendees will learn key concepts to consider when structuringmergers and acquisitions such as new ideas for strategicgrowth, acquisition as a growth strategy, developing strategiccriteria, and tools for exploration and execution of anacquisition, NACUSO said.
|“As CUSOs grow so do opportunities for business mergers andacquisitions,” the association said. “There are many lessons in thefor-profit world that the CUSO world can learn from.”
