Petey the Pelican paid a call to Most Blessed Sacrament Schoolin Baton Rouge to present the $1,000 prize to the cheerleadingsquad that won a Louisiana-wide contest for best cheer for the $218million Pelican State Credit Union.

The girls chanted “Louisiana, let's hear it. Show your Pelicanspirit!” in their winning cheervideo. “Checking, banking, savings accounts, we've got it allfigured out,” continued the girls as they back flipped in unisonacross the field.

“The cheer contest was a fun and unique way for us to supportthe schools' cheer teams while raising awareness of credit unionsamong the younger generation,” said Jeffrey K. Conrad, CEO ofPelican State in Baton Rouge.
