CUNA Mutual Group said this week that it notched 2,185registrants for its Online Discovery Conference, the most yet inthe annual event's four years.

The Oct. 1 virtual conference included 13 sessions with anemphasis on helping credit unions remain relevant to members,manage compliance risk and drive growth, the Madison, Wis., companysaid.

The sessions are now archived. “If you missed the live event,it's not too late to participate,” said Christy LaMasney, OnlineDiscovery Conference manager. “You can still access the conferenceon demand, for free, by simply registering.”

The 2,185 registrants included more than 50 from 10 othercountries. One of the participants, Dallas Pitts of the $103million FAA Federal Credit Union based in Memphis, Tenn., won freeregistration and $1,000 in travel expenses to the 2014 America'sCredit Union Conference in San Francisco, Calif., next summer.

The show prize winner was randomly drawn from a list of 25attendees who earned the most show prize points through theiractive participation in the conference, CUNA Mutual said.
