CUES has elected three board members who will start theirthree-year terms after the Madison, Wis.-based association's annualmeeting at its CEO/Executive Team Network event Nov. 3-6 in San Diego.

Two of the newly elected directors are incumbents: Chair Teresa Freeborn, president/CEO of the $810 million,67,000-member Xceed Financial Credit Union in El Segundo, Calif.,and Vice Chairman/Chairman-Elect Robert Ramirez, CCE, CEO of the $1.2 billion, 120,000-memberVantage West Federal Credit Union in Tucson, Ariz.

Joining the board is Stephanie Sherrodd, CCE, president/CEO of the $2 billion,173,000-member Texas Dow Employees Credit Union in Lake Jackson,Tex., who will replace Past Chairman and Director Carla Altepeter,CCE, president/CEO of the $1.2 billion, 98,000-member NumericaCredit Union in Spokane Valley, Wash. Altepeter has served themaximum number of terms allowed.

The three new board members were nominated in May by thegovernance committee of the CUES Board of Directors, and elected byacclamation, as no nominations by petition were received by theJuly 8 deadline.

McCants, CCD, CCE,president/CEO, IBM Southeast Employees' Federal Credit Union, BocaRaton, Fla.; Past Chairman and Director Dale F. Schumacher,president/CEO, Tampa Bay Federal Credit Union, Tampa, Fla.;Director Joseph F. Hearn, CCE, president/CEO, Dupaco CommunityCredit Union, Dubuque, Iowa; and Director Chris McDonald,president/CEO, Andrews Federal Credit Union, Suitland, Md.
