Veteran credit union manager Ralph Ruiz has been namedpresident/CEO of the $138 million ILWU Credit Union in Wilmington,Calif.

Ruiz has more than 23 years offinancial services experience, including more than 15 at thesenior executive level, his new employer said. He most recentlywas chief operating officer at the $366 million SkyOne FCU inHawthorne, Calif., where he was credited with transforming themember investment services program and leading the former FAA FirstFCU through two mergers.
The Loyola Marymount University graduate also had been vicepresident of marketing and technology at SkyOne when it was FAA First FCU, ILWU CU said.
|The 15,300-member ILWU CU has two branches and has been servinglongshoremen and their families for more than 50 years, the creditunion said.
|Ruiz succeeds the retired John Coleman in the position.
