The $24 million Matagorda County Credit Union in Bay City, Texas, is planningto convert to the Sharetec core processing system from Data Systemsof Texas, the company and credit union said.
|The 3,290-member credit union cited the ability to offer moreproducts and services in its decision to convert to the newsolution, the Waco, Texas-based company said in a release.
|Data Systems of Texas is one of four regional distributor-ownersof the Sharetec system and now has 68 credit union clients. Nearly 300overall run on the Sharetec system.
|Data Systems said the credit union now is running on a systemfrom an Alaska-based firm.
