The $861 million CFCU Community Credit Union in Ithaca, N.Y., said Wednesday ithas hired Jim Struble for the newly created position of vicepresident of sales and service.

Struble had spent the past five years at the $635 millionMayo Employees FCU in Rochester, Minn., where he most recentlywas director of innovation and production manager, his new employersaid.

“Jim's dedication to the industry and his proven track record ofgrowth and member service will make him a strong leader for ourcredit union. We have the utmost confidence that with Jim'sleadership CFCU will continue to grow and exceed the needs of ourmembership,” Beth Putnam, senior vice president of branchadministration at the 58,600-member New York credit union, saidin the credit union's announcement.

Struble, who has a bachelor's degree from St. Olaf College andan MBA from Augsburg College, said, “I am eager to begin my servicewith the credit union. Also, I am extremely grateful for theopportunities I have had at Mayo Employees Federal Credit Union andthe experience I have gained from my time there, without which, Iwould not be where I am today.”
