Two credit unions – one in Florida, the other in Minnesota –have announced they are switching core processors.

The $428 million Community Credit Union in Rockledge, Fla., saidit is converting to the Symitar Episys platform, citing long-term viability andthird-party connectivity concerns with its current system.

The $74 million Fulda Area Credit Union in Fulda, Minn.,meanwhile, said it is converting to the UltraData Enterprisesolution from Harland Financial Solutions, as well as thatcompany's Cavion electronic banking solutions for phone, mobile andonline.

The credit union cited its satisfaction with its existingrelationship with Harland's LaserPro and DepositPro loan anddeposit origination and documentation solutions.

According to the Technology Survey from Callahan &Associates, Community Credit Union currently runs on the FiservCUBE platform while Fulda Area CU is a Sharetec client.

Jack Henry & Associates claims more than 700 credit unionusers of the Symitar core processing systems, while about 400credit unions run on UltraData, which will soon have a new ownerafter the HFS sale to Davis + Henderson closes.
